Appointments

How soon can I get an exam?

Our staff can usually schedule an exam within two weeks. Please call us at 717-877-4950 to schedule your appointment.

I have an eye emergency. How soon can I be seen?

In most cases, we will be able to provide you with emergency care.  Please call 717-877-4950.  Dr. Nardis generally can see you within a couple hours (even after hours) unless he is out of town.

I am not able to make my appointment. Should I contact the office?

Yes, please notify our staff if you are not able to make your appointment.   We would be happy to reschedule your appointment, plus we would be able to schedule someone else into that time slot.

How do I know when it is time for my yearly exam?

Big Valley Eye Care can notify you by email or post card.

 

If you send us an email with your email address, we will contact you. Also, Big Valley Eye Care will email you  of your upcoming appointments and when your glasses/contacts arrive.

 

If you don't have an email account,  our staff will call you or send a post card.

Payments

Does Big Valley Eye Care accept credit or debit cards?

Payments must be in cash or check only. We are unable to accept credit or debit cards at this time. 

Insurance

Does Big Valley Eye Care take vision insurance?

Yes, Big Valley Eye Care accepts most vision insurance. Please call 717-877-4950 to check if we cover your specific insurance.

Which vision insurance plans does Big Valley Eye Care accept?

Big Valley Eye Care accepts Medicare, NVA, VBA, Davis, Eyemed, VSP, Geisinger, Blue Shield, Access, and Spectera among others.  Call 717-877-4950 if you do not see yours listed.
